EN: Any organization or association of citizens must sign a commitment to respect this Constitution so that it can exercise its activities. In this way, associations that violate human rights cannot be established (as is the case with some religions and religious sects).

EN: EUROPEAN CONSTITUTION: WHY ARTICLE 51?
Article 51: Status of churches and other non-denominational organizations
1. The Union shall respect and shall not prejudge the status which, under national law, the churches, religious associations or communities in the Member States benefit
2. The Union shall also respect the status of non-denominational philosophical organizations.
3. Recognizing their identity and their specific contribution, the Union will maintain an open, transparent and regular dialogue with these churches and organizations.
