Article 51: Status of churches and other non-denominational organizations
1. The Union shall respect and shall not prejudge the status which, under national law, the churches, religious associations or communities in the Member States benefit
2. The Union shall also respect the status of non-denominational philosophical organizations.
3. Recognizing their identity and their specific contribution, the Union will maintain an open, transparent and regular dialogue with these churches and organizations.

Articulo 51: Status de las iglesias y otras organizaciones no confesionales
1. La Unión respetará y no prejuzgará el status del que se benefician, en virtud del derecho nacional, las iglesias, las asociaciones o comunidades religiosas en los Estados miembros
2. La Unión respetará igualmente el status de las organizaciones filosóficas no confesionales
3. Reconociendo su identidad y su contribución especifica, la Unión mantendrá un dialogo abierto transparente y regular , con estas iglesias y organizaciones.
